Taylor Ackley is a performer, composer and scholar of American folk music. His primary creative project is the Deep Roots Ensemble, a chamber ensemble built from a mix of folk and classical instruments ranging from banjo and dobro to French horn and bassoon. They specialize in studying and performing Traditional American Music.
